Uttaranchal is a state in the northern part of the India, is blessed with the high Himalayan massive of snow capped peaks like:  High Passes, Glaciers and numbers of Explore and Unexplored trekking routes, it’s a really heavens adobe. The state has always been a destination for adventure tourism especially for mountaineering, hiking, and rock climbing in India. In the past numbers of professional climbers and mountaineers went on several expeditions in the state and explored the hidden beauty of Uttarakhand. However, maximum peaks are open to be climbed, but it’s not easy to just choose any peak and climb it. Several permit needs to be obtained.

The Valley of Flowers was also a result of one such exploration and the Valley of Flowers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the upper expanses of Bhyundar Ganga near Joshimath in Gharwal region, is known for the variety and rarity of its flowers and plants and Roopkund is a trekking site, known for the mysterious skeletons found in a lake, which was featured by National Geographic Channel in a documentary. The trek to Roopkund passes through the meadows of Bugyal.
