Hamta Pass lies at an altitude of 4270 m (14009 ft) on the Pir Panjal range in the Himalayas. It is a small corridor between Lahaul and Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. Hamta Village is located below Sethan village and from there it got its name Hamta Pass. This pass is frequently used by shepherds of lower Himalayan region, seeking for high altitude grassland in the dry cold desert of Lahaul during summer time. Numbers of wild flowers and herbs grow at the altitude between 3000 to 3800 m. Vertical rock walls, waterfalls, hanging glaciers, tiny lakes, peaks rising above 6000 m are main characteristics of this trek. People need a proper guide to cross certain glaciers. From Hamta pass one can extend their journey towards the beautiful Chandrataal.

Day 1: At Delhi
Welcome at Delhi Airport, meet with our representative and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi to Chandigarh
After breakfast, check out from hotel and board the coach and proceed to Chandigarh, on arrival visit the Rose and Rock Garden, Sukhana Lake. Overnight in hotel at Chandigarh.
Day 03: Chandigarh to Manali 310 Km After having breakfast in the morning, board the coach and proceed to Manali through Kullu, which is 310 kms away. Lunch will be served in the afternoon. Reach Manali and check-in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Manali Sip your tea in the morning followed by breakfast and indulge in shopping, and exploring the areas close at hand. Have lunch in the afternoon and set out to catch a glimpse of sights like Hadimba Temple and Vashisht Hot Spring. Return to the hotel, have your dinner and get some sleep.
Day 05: Manali - Rohtang - Chhota Dhara Head out to reach Chhota Dhara (115 km) through Rohtang pass (3849 mt) after having breakfast in the morning. Have lunch on the way. We will set up a camp on arrival at Chhota Dhara. Proceed to it for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06: Chhota Dhara - Kunzum La - Rangrik Have your breakfast in the morning followed by a 140 km long drive to reach Rangrik through Kunzum-la. Witness Losar, first village of the Spiti valley, which is 22 km away from Kunzum. Lunch will be served in the afternoon. Reach Rangrik and retire for the day in a camp after having dinner.
Day 07: Rangrik - Kaza - Sichling Following breakfast in the morning, drive down to Ki Monastery, which passes through the Spiti River and, is an important Gelugpa centre and seat of Lochen Tulku, the 24th Lotsawa Rimpoche. Have lunch in the afternoon and drive down to Kibber Gompa, the highest village in the valley. After visiting Ki and Kibber, reach Sichling through Kaza. Relish your dinner and get some sleep in a camp at Sichling below Dhankar Monastery.
Day 08: Sichling - Tabo - Sichling After having breakfast in the morning, set out on a 32 km drive to reach Tabo (3050 mt), the cultural city of Spiti dotted with the most famous and sacred monastery in Himachal Pradesh. Witness the temples here, which are designed in the west-Tibetan style. Return to the camp for lunch followed by a visit to Dhankar. Come back to the camp, have dinner and retire for the evening.
Day 09: Sichling – Mikkim - Mud Sip your tea in the morning followed by breakfast and drive down to Mikkim through Gulling and visit Kungri Monastery. Lunch will be served in the afternoon. Arrive at Mud village and proceed to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Mud - Pharka - Phaldar Camp - Bhaba Base Have your breakfast in the morning followed by a 5-6 hour long trekking experience traversing the Pin River and Shian village. Have lunch on the way. Continue trekking till the Pin River takes left turn. Witness the Pin-Parvati Pass and Bhaba Pass around the valley. We will set up a camp, relish your dinner and get some sleep.
Day 11: Bhaba Base - Bhaba pass - Fushtiaring Head off on a trekking trail, which is initially gentle followed by the moraines, to Bhaba Pass early in the morning after having breakfast. Reach Fushtiaring and we will pitch up a camp at the bank of Wanger River. Lunch will be served in the afternoon. Savor your dinner and retire for the day.
Day 12: Fushtiaring - Mulling Following breakfast in the morning, set out on a 4-5 hour long trekking to reach Mulling, which crosses the Wanger River. The valley forms a T shape with another valley in the front after about one hour. We will serve you lunch on the way. The trek goes to the right side passing through a stream. An hour later, the trail goes left giving a view of a natural rock bridge. Arrive at Mulling and proceed to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 13: Mulling - Kafnu - Kalpa After having breakfast in the morning, begin with a 3-4 hour long walk crossing a forest and Wanger River on the left bank. The forest is heavily flooded with pine, cedar and birch. Have lunch in the afternoon. Reach Kafnu, board the coach and we will drive you to Kalpa (2900 mt). Check-in at the tourist bungalows/tented camp for dinner and get some sleep.
Day 14: Kalpa - Sarahan Sip your tea in the morning followed by breakfast and drive down to Sarahan (85 km). Check into the hotel, have your lunch and set out to catch a glimpse of Bhimkali Temple and bird breeding center. Back to the hotel and retire for the day after having dinner.
Day 15: Sarahan - Shimla Have your breakfast in the morning followed by a drive (185 km) down to reach Shimla through Narkanda. Proceed to the hotel, savor your lunch and set out to visit the surrounding areas on your own. Come back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 16: Shimla - Kalka - Delhi Following breakfast in the morning, head out to catch a glimpse of the famous sights in Shimla. Have lunch in the afternoon and depart for the Kalka railway station and board Shatabdi Express to reach Delhi. Our representative will escort you to the hotel from the New Delhi railway station. Retire for the evening after having your dinner in the hotel.
Day 17: Depart Delhi In the morning, set out to visit Delhi on your own after breakfast followed by departing for the international airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
